Chinese Name : 附子木瓜丸

Drug Formulation

10 pieces of Aconite Root (weighing half a liang each; simmer in a silver or stone pot with 1 sheng of black beans and 3 bowls of water over low heat until the beans are tender and the aconite is soft; then slice and dry in an oven), 6 liang of Achyranthes Root (soaked in wine, sliced, and dried), 4 liang of Notopterygium Root (stem removed), 2 liang of Fennel Seeds (imported, roasted),Green tangerine peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, and dried in the oven) 2 liang, Morinda root (core removed) 2 liang, and Papaya 6 liang (from Xuanzhou, peel and seeds removed; steamed until soft, then ground into a paste in a new sand pot; mix with the preceding ingredients; if too dry, add a small amount of thin wheat flour paste).

Processing

Of the seven ingredients listed above, grind six into a fine powder. Use the papaya paste to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20–30 pills per dose on an empty stomach or before meals, washed down with salted water. Discontinue once the condition is alleviated; continuous use is not necessary.
