Drug Formulation

6 liang of Cinnamomum cassia bark, 2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of Asarum, 2 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis, 5 liang of Panax ginseng, 3 liang of Magnolia officinalis (roasted), 3 liang of Citrus aurantium (roasted),3 liang of Paeonia lactiflora, 3 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 4 liang of Astragalus membranaceus, 1 sheng of Ophiopogon japonicus (core removed), 1 sheng of Evodia rutaecarpa, 1 sheng of Pinellia ternata (washed), 5 he of honey, 1 piece of Aconite (roasted, skin removed), 2 jin of fresh ginger, half a jin of Schisandra chinensis, half a jin of maltose, and 6 liang of licorice (roasted).

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Pound fresh ginger to extract 3 sheng of juice; boil the herbs in 2 dou of water until reduced to 6 sheng, strain out the residue, and simmer over low heat. Add the ginger juice, honey, and malt syrup, stirring until well blended. Boil down to 6 sheng. Take 1 sheng per dose, twice daily.
