Processing

Step 1: Take 0.3 g of red arsenic and 0.6 g of alum (crushed). Mix thoroughly, place in a clay pot, and roast on all four sides over a charcoal fire. The heat must be intense; roast for about 2–3 hours (until the black smoke dissipates and white smoke appears). Remove the clay pot and allow it to cool; you will then obtain a snow-white compound of alum and arsenic.Step 2: ① 4 parts of the alum-arsenic compound, 1 part cinnabar, 2 parts realgar, and half a part myrrh.② 8 parts cooked rice (calculated as dry rice) (cooked into a paste). First, mix the four ingredients from Step ①, crush them, and grind into a uniform powder. Set aside 10% of this mixture, then mix it with 20% of the rice paste from Step ② until well blended. If the mixture is too dry, add boiled water until it can be rolled into nail-shaped medicinal pellets. After air-drying or oven-drying, the remedy is ready for use.

Hemorrhoids.

Instructions for Use

At a distance of 0.3–0.5 cm from the dentate line, rotate the pin along the longitudinal axis of the intestinal wall at a 25°–35° angle along the longitudinal axis of the intestinal wall, 0.3–0.5 cm from the dentate line, into the center of the submucosal hemorrhoid. The typical insertion depth is approximately 1 cm. The number of pins inserted depends on the size of the hemorrhoid; generally, 4–6 pins are inserted per hemorrhoid, spaced 0.3–0.5 cm apart. The pins should protrude 1 mm to ensure stability and prevent bleeding at the insertion site.
