Drug Formulation

Chaihu 1 liang 2 qian, Cao Longdan (washed with wine 4 times) 1 liang,Trichosanthes root (processed with wine) 1 liang, Scutellaria baicalensis (stir-fried with wine twice) 7 qian, Angelica sinensis tips 5 qian, raw Scutellaria baicalensis 5 qian, Guangmao 5 qian, Beijing-style Curcuma zedoaria (stir-fried with wine together with Guangmao) 5 qian, Forsythia 5 qian, Paeonia lactiflora 5 qian, fried Glycyrrhiza 3 qian, Coptis chinensis (stir-fried with wine twice) 2 qian, Atractylodes lancea 2 qian.

Processing

Weigh half of the above ingredients separately, grind into a fine powder, and mix with refined honey to form pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use

Take over 100 pills per dose; half should be coarsely crushed. Take 5 qian per dose with 2 zhan of water. Soak for more than half a day, then decoct until reduced to 1 zhan. Strain out the residue. Take it hot before bedtime, remove the pillow, lie on your back, and swallow in 10 mouthfuls, reserving one mouthful to wash down the pills. After finishing, lie down as usual and apply Longquan Powder to the affected area.
