Drug Formulation
Sea squid (scraped off with a bamboo knife while soft, ground into a fine powder, washed with water, and sun-dried) 1 liang; cinnabar (ground into a fine powder and washed with water) 1 fen.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; melt good-quality wax and roll into pills the size of mung beans.

For external eye obstructions, red opacities penetrating the pupil, and conditions where the patient feels as if something is clinging to the eye.
Instructions for Use
Take 1 pill at a time and place it on the outer canthus of the eye. Immediately proceed to the site of the opacity or cataract; if the opacity has disappeared, the pill will remain motionless at the canthus—a remarkably effective remedy.
