Drug Formulation

4 liang of sulfur, half a liang of black tin, half a liang of mercury, half a liang of cloves (not exposed to fire), and half a liang of dried ginger.

Processing

First, melt the black tin; then add the mercury to form granules. Combine these with the sulfur and grind into a blackish-gray powder. Next, add the remaining ingredients and grind until uniform. Use the natural juice of fresh ginger to boil into a paste, then form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.
