Formulas Name : Decoction for Stabilizing the Fetus and Relieving Pain
Chinese Name : 安胎止痛汤
Drug Formulation
1 liang of Angelica sinensis, 1 liang of donkey-hide gelatin (roasted), 1 liang of dried Rehmannia root, 1 liang of Coptis, 1 liang of Paeonia lactiflora, 1 chicken egg, and 1 sheng of sorghum rice.

Instructions for Use
Add 7 sheng of water; stir the egg until well blended; boil the sorghum rice until it resembles crab eyes; strain out the residue; add all the herbs; boil down to 3 sheng; divide into 4 doses.
Note
Avoid wild fennel.
