Ji Yin Bao Yuan Decoction

Formulas Name : Ji Yin Bao Yuan Decoction
Chinese Name : 济阴保元汤
Drug Formulation
3 qian of Yunnan Precious Ginseng, 4 qian of Coix Seed (steamed thoroughly with water, sliced, then mixed with ginger, steamed again with the Coix Seed juice, and sun-dried), 1 liang of Huai Raw Rehmannia (steamed with a mixture of Amomum, wine, and ginger; sun-dried nine times; collected; then baked on a tile until charred), 4 qian of Angelica sinensis,3 qian of White Peony Root (stir-fried with wine), 2 qian of Sichuan Lovage Root (oil thoroughly removed; soaked and washed in rice washing water; dried; then soaked in wine),Salvia miltiorrhiza 4 qian (thoroughly washed with wine), Leonurus japonicus seeds 4 qian (thoroughly steamed with wine), Cyperus rotundus 3 qian (processed successively with ginger, soil, vinegar, salt, children’s urine, licorice decoction, and breast milk), Atractylodes macrocephala 5 qian (stir-fried with aged soil), Ligustrum lucidum 3 qian (soaked in a decoction of white mustard and plantain, then dried for use).
