Drug Formulation

Dried persimmon cakes (charred until carbonized) 2 liang, bamboo leaves from wine bottles (used to wrap wine for 2–3 years, charred until carbonized) 2 liang,dried plum pulp (charred until only the essence remains) 2 liang (net weight), Baiyao decoction 1 liang (if unavailable, substitute with gallnuts roasted until golden brown), acacia flowers (roasted until charred black) half a liang, trichosanthes peel (roasted with wheat bran until yellow) half a liang, areca nut half a liang.
