Drug Formulation
Asparagus root (washed in rice washing water, peeled and de-seeded, sun-dried) 3 liang (soaked in fine wine, then pounded into a paste), Coptis rhizome 3 liang (stir-fried with ginger juice, ground into powder), Southern Star (boiled with 2 qian of fresh ginger, 2 qian of soapberry, and 2 qian of white alum until tender; sun-dried and ground into powder) 1 liang, White Poria (peeled and woody parts removed, ground into powder)1 liang 5 qian, Scutellaria baicalensis (stir-fried with wine, ground into powder) 2 liang, White Mustard Seed (washed with water, stir-fried, ground into powder) 2 liang, Guang Chenpi (washed with water, steamed until tender, white pith removed, sun-dried, ground into powder) 3 liang, Stemona (washed with water, sun-dried, ground into powder) 3 liang, Bitter Platycodon (washed with water, stir-fried, ground into powder) 2 liang,Black Scrophularia (washed with water, sun-dried, and ground into powder) 2 liang, Lily Bulb (washed with water, sun-dried, and ground into powder) 2 liang, Raw Fritillary Bulb (washed with water, core removed, sun-dried, and ground into powder) 3 liang, Perilla Seed (washed with water, sun-dried, stir-fried, and ground into powder) 1 liang 5 qian, Pinellia (processed as Nanxing, ground into powder) 5 qian, Radish Seed (washed with water, stir-fried, and ground into powder) 3 liang,Green Bamboo Shavings (ground into powder) 2 liang, Dried Kudzu (washed with water, sun-dried, ground into powder) 1 liang, Peppermint (washed with water, sun-dried, ground into powder) 3 liang, Borax 1 liang, Xuanhu (washed with water, dehaired, sun-dried, ground into powder) 2 liang, Schisandra (washed with water, sun-dried, ground into powder) 2 liang,Zhike (stir-fried with wheat bran; use pure Zhike powder) 1 liang.
