Half jin of Lycium bark, half liang of white poplar bark, 1 liang of salt, and 1 liang of powdered white alum.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, use 5 liang of the mixture. Simmer in 9 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng; strain out the residue, then simmer further until reduced to 1 sheng. Transfer to a porcelain container and use a cotton swab dipped in the solution to wipe the affected area. Recovery occurs after 5–7 applications.
