Drug Formulation
3 fen of Hengshan, 3 fen of licorice (raw), 3 fen of softshell turtle shell (coated with vinegar and roasted until yellow; remove the frills), 3 fen of gypsum, 3 fen of Bupleurum (remove the stems), 3 fen of Anemarrhena.

Instructions for Use
Take 3 qian per dose. Use 1 medium bowl of water, add 10 pieces of light bamboo leaves, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain out the residue, and take while warm, regardless of the time of day. This should induce the vomiting of thick phlegm; immediately afterward, take the Harmonizing Qi and Regulating the Middle Decoction.
