Drug Formulation

Half a jin of dried lacquer (ground into powder), half a jin of raw Rehmannia root (pounded and squeezed to extract juice), and 5 jin of raw Achyranthes root (pounded and squeezed to extract juice).

Processing

Place the above herbs in a silver pot and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly until reduced to a decoction; then add 2 liang of Cinnamomum cassia bark and 2 liang of Chuanxiong powder, and mix into pills the size of a paulownia seed.
