Drug Formulation

3 liang of “Si Jin” (also known as “General’s Flower”) (soaked in urine for 3 days, then wrapped in paper and roasted), 3.5 liang of “Yi Songzi” (i.e., croton seeds) (soaked in whey for 7 days, then stir-fried until golden), 1 handful plus 1 stalk of “Yu Tun” (i.e., fine charcoal) (soaked in 5 sheng of rice vinegar; use the entire liquid, including the sediment), and 70 wen of copper coins (each half liang in weight; refined thoroughly with 5 sheng of wine using fine copper wire).

Instructions for Use

Apply according to the affected area. Bleeding and pain will cease immediately, leaving no scar. To expel all types of stagnant blood in women, take one character’s worth, mixed with warm wine.
