Qi-Regulating Pills，From *Pu Ji Fang*, Volume 147.，Indicated for deficiency of the Shao Yin channel and deficient kidney qi, suddenly manifesting as alternating chills and fever; when the Tai Yang channel sinks into the kidneys, causing kidney qi to surge and agitate the San Jiao internally, resulting in fever, headache, cough with shortness of breath and phlegm, pain radiating from the right flank, or the onset of a rash. The pulse at the left cun position is deep and taut; upon palpation, it is weak, large, and涩 (rough). Also treats shortness of breath.

Drug Formulation
1 liang of fenugreek (roasted), 7.5 qian of psoralea, 5 qian of scrophularia, 1 liang of eucommia (roasted until fibers break), 1.5 liang of Chinese toon fruit (soaked in wine), 5 qian of acorus, 5 qian of notopterygium, 5 qian of anise, 2 qian of ephedra (knots removed; use 3 qian in spring and summer).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder and form into pills with wheat flour paste.
