Drug Formulation
Take 1 jin of white pork lard (with the membrane removed), 4 liang of ephedra (with roots and nodes removed), 4 pieces of wood turtle meat, 4 whole spotted beetles, 3 qian of alum, and 40 pieces of large wind seed pulp.

Processing
First, pour half a cup of water into a clay pot. Place the lard in the pot and melt it over medium-low heat. Next, make a bag from hemp cloth, fill it with ephedra, tie the opening with string, and place it in the oil.First, place several pieces of reed root at the bottom of the pot and simmer until the scent of half a stick of incense is released; then remove them. Next, place the spotted beetles and wood turtle meat into the same bag, tie the opening, and simmer again until the scent of half a stick of incense is released; then remove and drain thoroughly. Crush the large wind seeds and add them to the oil along with the alum; simmer briefly, then set aside on the ground overnight. Remove and apply to the affected area.
