Chinese Name : 泻痢丹

Drug Formulation

1 jin of Angelica sinensis, 1 jin 6 liang of Guangmuxiang,1 jin of Chebulic Myrobalan pulp, 1 jin of white peony root (soaked in wine), 1 jin 4 liang of Coptis, 1 jin of Poria, 1 jin 4 liang of Atractylodes, 1 jin 4 liang of Evodia, 1.5 jin of pomegranate peel, 1 jin of areca nut, 10 liang of cardamom, 5 liang of licorice, 1 jin of ginger-processed Magnolia bark, and 1 jin of amomum.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with water to form pills, and coat with white calamine.

Benefits

For chronic dysentery with red and white stools, and chronic diarrhea with loose stools.

Instructions for Use

Each packet weighs 7 fen; take one packet per dose, washed down with hot water. For children: 1 pill for a 1-year-old; 6 pills for a 7-year-old.

Note

Contraindicated for acute dysentery and pregnant women.
