Drug Formulation
2 jin of yellow丹, 1 liang of southern frankincense (ground separately), 1 liang of myrrh (ground separately), 1 liang of angelica root, 1 liang of wood turtle seeds (raw), 1 liang of white lonicera (raw), 1 liang of white alum (raw), 3 cun of cassia bark, 1 liang of apricot kernels (raw), 1 liang of white angelica root, and 1 jin of fresh willow twigs.

Processing
Except for the orpiment, frankincense, and myrrh, soak the remaining eight ingredients in 5 jin of sesame oil overnight. Simmer them in an iron pot until the mixture turns yellow; discard the herbs. Next, add the orpiment to the pot and stir with a willow twig until the mixture turns yellow; then remove it from the heat. Stir with a willow twig until thick smoke rises, then add the frankincense and myrrh and mix evenly. Allow to cool, pour into a porcelain basin, and wait until the mixture hardens. Cut into blocks with a knife and wrap in oiled paper.
