Drug Formulation
Cinnamon Twig 1 liang 16 zhu, Peony Root 1 liang, Ephedra 1 liang (knots removed), Fresh Ginger 1 liang, Licorice (roasted) 1 liang, Jujubes 4 (split), Apricot Kernels 24 (peeled and tips removed).

Benefits
Dispels wind and relieves exterior syndromes. Indicated for cases of cold damage on the seventh or eighth day, characterized by fever and aversion to cold resembling malaria, but without vomiting; clear and free urination; and aversion to cold despite faint pulses.
Instructions for Use
Combine the above seven ingredients with 5 sheng of water. First, boil the ephedra for one or two boils, skim off the foam, then add the remaining herbs. Simmer until reduced to 1 sheng and 8 he, strain out the residue, and take 6 he while warm.
