Drug Formulation

Angelica sinensis (whole, washed with wine) 3 liang, Southern Ligusticum 1 liang, White Peony Root (roasted) 2 liang, Raw Rehmannia Root (washed with wine) 4 liang, Ginseng (stem removed) 1 liang, White Atractylodes (stem removed, stir-fried) 3 liang, Poria (peeled) 2 liang, Licorice (roasted) 1.5 liang, Acanthopanax Bark (washed with wine, sun-dried) 8 liang,small, plump red dates (pitted) 4 liang, walnut kernels 4 liang.

Processing

Coarsely chop the ingredients, place them all in a silk bag, and simmer in 40 jin of high-quality glutinous rice wine for the duration of two sticks of incense. Bury the bag in clean soil for 5 days and nights, then remove it. Wait 3–7 days before taking the decoction.

Instructions for Use

Drink 1–2 small cups warm each morning, noon, and evening.
