Drug Formulation

Half liang of Jinjing Ejiao (stir-fried with grass ash until thoroughly white; grind separately; if not fine enough, stir-fry again and grind finely), half liang of black plum pulp (pitted and stir-fried), half liang of Phellodendron bark (chopped and stir-fried), half liang of Coptis, half liang of Angelica sinensis (roasted), half liang of red peony root, half liang of dried ginger (roasted), and half liang of red Poria.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, mix thoroughly with donkey-hide gelatin, and form into pills the size of a tung tree seed using water.

Instructions for Use

Take 10 pills per dose, washed down with warm rice water; take 5–6 doses before meals and at night. For children, the pills should be the size of mung beans.
