In cases of severe vomiting, take the medicine immediately after vomiting; if taken just before vomiting, the medicine may be expelled before it has a chance to take effect. After taking the medicine, keep the body warm until sweating occurs; recovery will follow. If sweating occurs after the first dose, the remaining two doses should still be taken; if the condition has not fully resolved after completing one dose, another dose may be taken immediately. If vomiting and diarrhea have persisted for a long time, the patient is barely breathing, and there is a risk of death, this medicine alone may not be sufficient to reverse the condition; in such cases, the Emergency Yang-Restoring Decoction should be administered immediately.
