Formulas Name : Sanling-Softshell Turtle Carapace Pills
Chinese Name : 三棱鳖甲丸
Drug Formulation
1 liang of Beijing-style Sanleng (roasted until cracked, then coarsely ground), 2 liang of softshell turtle shell (coated with vinegar, roasted until slightly yellow and charred, with the frills removed), 1 liang of dried ginger (roasted until cracked, then coarsely ground), 1 liang of Pong’e Zhu,1 liang of green tangerine peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, and baked), 1 liang of Chinese toad lily (tossed with vinegar, stir-fried until dry), 1 liang of Sichuan pepper (seeds and closed pods removed, lightly stir-fried to remove moisture).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from vinegar-boiled flour to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
