Drug Formulation

Ginseng 3 qian, Astragalus 2 qian 5, Atractylodes 2 qian, Aconite 5 fen, Wood Fragrance 5 fen, Angelica 1 qian 5 fen, Ligusticum 1 qian, Tangerine Peel (roasted) 1 qian, Licorice (roasted) 1 qian,1 cardamom pod (baked), 1.5 qian Poria, 1.5 qian dried Pueraria root, 2 chebulic myrobalan fruits, 1.5 fen peony root, 300 glutinous rice grains.

For smallpox with deficiency in both the exterior and interior, accompanied by vomiting, diarrhea, thirst, and cold extremities.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, add fresh ginger, decoct in water, and drink.

Note

Do not administer this formula to patients with internal deficiency characterized by chills, teeth chattering, vomiting, and diarrhea, accompanied by a warm head and cold feet.
