Drug Formulation

8 liang of Prepared Rehmannia (simmered in wine), 4 liang of Cornus officinalis, 4 liang of Chinese yam, 2 liang 5 qian of Poria, 2 liang 5 qian of Moutan bark, 2 liang of Alisma, 3 liang of Angelica root, and 3 liang of Goji berries.

Processing

Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder. Pound the prepared Rehmannia root until extremely smooth, then mix it with the other powders. If the mixture is too dry, add refined honey and pound it another 1,000 strokes with a pestle. Form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
