Drug Formulation

White alum (calcined until all liquid is gone) 2 liang, green alum (calcined) 2 liang, Trichosanthes fruit (calcined to preserve its nature) 2 liang, hedgehog skin (calcined to preserve its nature) 2 liang, chela (roasted, pitted) 2 liang, Trifoliate orange peel (pulp removed, stir-fried with wheat bran) 2 liang,White Aconite Root (roasted) 2 liang, Tiannanxing (soaked in ginger juice overnight, then baked) 2 liang, Pinellia (soaked in ginger juice overnight, then baked) 2 liang, Aconite Root (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed) 2 liang, Cockscomb 5 liang, Walnuts (burned to ash) 15.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from noodles boiled in vinegar to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.
