Sanbai Dan: 1 liang of Drip Milk Stone, 2 liang of Skull Cap.

Processing
Place the above herbs in a porcelain bowl, seal it tightly, and calcine over low heat to remove the toxic fumes.

Instructions for Use
Take 3 fen per dose, mixed with 3 qian of fine flour; robust individuals should divide the dose into 3 servings, those of moderate constitution into 5, and the frail into 7.Each day, take half a jin of Smilax glabra, crush it, add 7 bowls of water, and boil until reduced to 5 bowls. Strain out the residue, add one dose of the aforementioned pill, and boil again until reduced to 3 bowls; consume the entire amount in one day. The next day, repeat the procedure as before. After 2–3 days, swelling and pain in the throat and palate will subside, and fluid will drain from the gums; after 7 days, the toxin will be completely eliminated and the condition will resolve on its own.For severe swelling, use 1 qian each of Coptis, rhinoceros horn, and Dipsacus, along with 1 he of black beans; boil into a decoction and use it for gargling.
