Drug Formulation

Atractylodes macrocephala (lightly roasted) 5 liang, Tangerine peel (washed to retain the white pith) 3 liang, Pinellia (soaked in ginger juice 7 times) 3 liang, Shenqu (roasted) 2 liang, Hawthorn (steamed and pitted) 2 liang, Angelica sinensis root (washed with wine) 2 liang,White Peony Root (roasted) 2 liang, Poria (white) 2 liang, Chuanxiong (preferably small) 1.5 liang, Coptis (roasted with ginger juice) 1.5 liang, Cyperus (soaked in children’s urine) 1 liang, Trifoliate Orange (roasted with wheat bran) 1 liang, Licorice (roasted) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Wrap aged rice in lotus leaves, steam over low heat until cooked, then pound into pills the size of red adzuki beans.

Instructions for Use
