Drug Formulation

1 jin of dried shrimp (peeled and shelled; stir-fried with green salt and wine until dry and fragrant), 1 pair of genuine geckoes (roasted with green salt and wine until crisp), 4 liang of fennel (stir-fried with green salt and wine), and 4 liang of cleaned Sichuan pepper (prepared as above; do not overcook).

Processing

For the wine used in the preparation, use 2 sheng of cloudy brewed wine; strong wine with floating maggots is best. Stir in green salt to prepare it. First, process the gecko,Sichuan pepper peel, and anise; dry the prepared dried shrimp until all the wine is absorbed. Once the mixture is fragrant and fully cooked, combine the first three ingredients evenly, mix in 2 liang of coarsely ground southern frankincense, and while still hot, transfer the mixture into a porcelain container. Seal the container tightly on all sides, allow it to cool, and then use as needed.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 spoonful per dose on an empty stomach, chewing it thoroughly and washing it down with salted wine.
