Drug Formulation

Goji berries (remove stems and calyxes; mix with wine; steam) 4 liang, Shayuan tribulus (wash with wine; mix with honey and wine; steam) 3 liang, Angelica root (wash with wine) 2 liang, Ginseng (remove root base) 1 liang, Astragalus (honey-roasted) 2 liang, Chinese yam (mix with human milk and sun-dry three times) 2 liang,Cornus officinalis (washed with water, pitted, mixed with children’s urine, and sun-dried) 2 liang, Poria cocos (peeled, soaked to remove fibrous membranes, mixed with human milk, and sun-dried three times) 2 liang, Moutan bark (washed with wine, pitted) 2 liang, Huai raw Rehmannia root (washed with wine) 2 liang, Huai prepared Rehmannia root (washed with wine) 2 liang, Asparagus root (washed with water, pitted) 2 liang,Ophiopogon (washed with water, pith removed) 2 liang, Phellodendron (stir-fried with Sichuan autumn stone in wine until brown) 1 liang 5 qian, Anemarrhena (stir-fried with Sichuan autumn stone in wine until brown) 1 liang 5 qian, Turtle Plastron (washed with wine, roasted with butter) 2 liang,Eucommia Bark (coarse bark removed, stir-fried with ginger juice until fibers break) 2 liang, Achyranthes Root (root tip removed, washed with wine, steamed with black beans for two shí, then beans removed) 2 liang, Psoralea Seed (soaked in wine, steamed) 2 liang, Deer Antler Gelatin 4 liang, Cuscuta Seed (rinsed in water to remove sand, soaked in wine and steamed, pounded into cakes, and baked dry) 2 liang,Cistanche (washed with wine, roasted with ghee) 1 liang 5 qian, Suoyang (soaked in wine, roasted with ghee) 1 liang 2 qian, Tiger Tibia (soaked in wine, roasted with ghee) 2 liang.

Processing

Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder. First, dissolve the deer antler gelatin in high-quality, ash-free wine, then mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with lightly salted water; warm wine may also be used.
