Drug Formulation

Maqianzi 1 liang (coarse outer skin scraped off with a porcelain tile, soaked in children’s urine for 49 days),Zhike 6 qian (soaked in a child’s urine for 24 days; in hot weather, about 10 days; remove the pith after soaking) (place the above two ingredients in a muslin bag, rinse under running water for one day, then remove and dry on a tile), natural copper 6 qian (processed), Su Tu Bie 6 qian, 20 ancient copper coins (calcined and quenched in vinegar 7 times), crushed snake 3 qian,Panax notoginseng 1 liang, dragon’s blood 6 qian, frankincense 5 qian (processed), myrrh 5 qian (processed), tiger bone 6 qian, borneol 4 qian, musk 1 qian.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 fen to 1 qian per dose, washed down with warm rice wine. Adjust the dosage according to the patient’s physical constitution and the severity of the injury; in some cases, the maximum dose of 1 qian 5 fen to 3 qian may be used.

Note

When taking the medicine, one must avoid drafts to prevent severe spasms.
