Drug Formulation

6 fen of Cimicifuga, 6 fen of Forsythia, 5 fen of Platycodon, 5 fen of Scutellaria, 7 fen of Raw Rehmannia, 5 fen of Sappanwood, 5 fen of Phellodendron, 3 fen of Astragalus, 3 fen of Whole Scorpion, 3 fen of Ginseng, 4 fen of White Cardamom, 2 fen of Licorice, 5 fen of Earthworm (cleaned of soil and dried),Peach Kernel 3 fen, Horsefly 3 fen (head and wings removed), Paulownia Tears 1 fen, Sichuan Angelica 4 fen, Leeches 3 fen (stir-fried until all smoke has dissipated), Coptis 3 fen, Patchouli a pinch.

Instructions for Use

Of the above herbs, excluding Coptis, Forsythia, Paulownia Tears, and Cardamom, first grind the Agastache, Leeches, and Horseflies into a powder. Combine the remaining herbs into a single dose, add 2 cups of water and 1 zhong of wine, and decoct together with Forsythia until the residue is removed. Then add Paulownia Tears, White Cardamom, and Agastache, and decoct again until the volume is reduced to 7 fen. Take while still slightly warm.

Avoid alcohol, raw or cold foods, salty foods, and greasy foods.
