Drug Formulation

1 liang of Zhi Ke (remove the pith, chop into pieces; use 15 grains of Croton seeds, split them open to remove the shell, membrane, and core; stir-fry them together with the Zhi Ke until slightly yellow; remove the Croton seed pieces), 1 liang of Da Huang, 7 qian and a half of Fen Cao, and 2 qian and a half of Yuanmingfen.

Coarsely chop the ingredients and roast them to produce a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Add Yuanming Powder as needed, grind it evenly with the other ingredients in a mortar, and take half a qian to one qian per dose. For very young children, use one zi of the mixture, mixed with ginger-honey decoction or peppermint decoction, and administer at any time.
