Drug Formulation

Refine 8 liang of autumn stone in a yin furnace; 4 liang of red lead (if unavailable, substitute with 4 male fetal heads); 4 liang of human milk powder (made by mixing human milk with Chinese yam and sprinkling it with alcohol); 4 liang of cow’s milk powder; and 4 liang of clarified butter.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Wrap the powder in silk, soak it in glutinous rice water overnight, then steam the rice. Place the medicated packet into the rice and steam until the rice is cooked. Mix the cooked rice with date pulp and deer-glue wine to form pills.
