Drug Formulation

20 qian of beeswax, 20 qian of beef tallow, 20 qian of wild boar fat, 20 qian of coconut oil, 20 qian of verdigris, and 1 he of sesame oil.

Processing

First, pour the sesame oil into a clean pot and simmer over low heat until it reaches 60% of its original volume. Add the beeswax and stir with a willow wood spatula for a short while. Then, scoop out a small amount,drip a small amount into water to test the consistency. When the softness is just right, remove from heat. After a short while, strain through fine, old silk. Return to the heat until it appears to be melting, then add the three types of fat and stir to combine. Transfer back to the pot and continue stirring. When the mixture is at a temperature between warm and cool, slowly add chalk while stirring continuously. Add the verdigris and watch as the ointment gradually solidifies. Store in a porcelain container for future use.
