40 liang of Forsythia, 40 liang of Fangfeng, 40 liang of Angelica dahurica, 40 liang of Coptis, 40 liang of Sophora flavescens, 40 liang of Peppermint, 40 liang of Angelica sinensis, 40 liang of Schizonepeta spikelets, 40 liang of Pollen, 40 liang of Licorice, 40 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis, 40 liang of Red Peony Root, 24 liang of Bupleurum, 80 liang of Ephedra,Qianghuo 80 liang, Huangbai 80 liang, Diding 240 liang, Da Huang 240 liang, Yin Hua 160 liang.

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients, decoct them three times in water, filter each batch separately, discard the residue, combine the filtrates, and simmer over low heat until concentrated to a paste-like consistency—to the point where it does not seep through paper. For every liang of concentrated decoction, mix in one liang of refined honey to form a paste, then bottle it; each bottle weighs two liang.

Take 5 qian per dose, twice daily, mixed with warm water.
