5 fen of Bupleurum, 5 fen of Gardenia seeds (roasted), 1 qian of Angelica sinensis, 1 qian of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 1 qian of Paeonia lactiflora (roasted), 5 fen of Rehmannia glutinosa (homemade), 5 fen of Atractylodes macrocephala (roasted), 5 fen of Carica papaya (not processed with iron utensils), 5 fen of Poria cocos, 3 fen of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, 5 fen of Gentiana scabra (stir-fried with wine until blackened), and 5 fen of Coix seed.
