Drug Formulation

Pinellia (soaked in hot water to remove its slipperiness), Poria, Ginseng, Amomum, Tangerine Peel, Licorice, Dried Plum Pulp, Atractylodes, Fresh Ginger, and Jujube—all in equal parts.

Processing

Coarsely chop the ingredients, add a small amount of salt, let stand for a short while, wrap in thick paper, submerge in water, and simmer over low heat until fragrant and cooked through; then bake until dry.

Instructions for Use

Take half a liang per dose; decoct in 2 zhan of water until reduced to 7 fen; strain out the residue; take all three doses before the onset of symptoms.
