Drug Formulation

1 liang of mulberry cuttlefish (roasted), 1 liang of Notopterygium root, 1 liang of Vitex seeds, 1 liang of ephedra (knots removed), 1 liang of black snake meat (soaked in wine overnight, then dried in an oven; grind into a powder), half a liang of cinnabar, 1 fen of ox gallstone, and 1 fen of musk.

Processing

Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Using half a wild fox liver, pound them together in a stone mortar 200–300 times until a paste forms, about the size of a soapberry seed.
