Processing

Take five jin of the tender, fleshy part of a deer antler. First, boil it in water for 30–50 boils, then scrub and wash it until clean. Next, grind hemp seeds to extract a concentrated juice; boil the antler in this juice for about one fu time until it softens. Afterward, scrub and wash the pot and utensils thoroughly. Then, simmer 5 sheng of pure cow’s milk, watching closely until it turns jade-like in color, at which point stop heating. Grind the mixture finely until it resembles flour.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine on an empty stomach; take another dose before the evening meal.
