Drug Formulation

2 sheng of garlic (core removed, sliced, and stir-fried), 1 sheng of peach kernels (skin, tips, and double kernels removed, stir-fried, and ground), and 1 sheng of fermented soybeans (stir-fried until fragrant).

Processing

Place the above ingredients in a raw silk bag and place it in a clean porcelain jar. Soak in 1 dou of fine wine, seal the lid tightly, and let it steep for 3 days in spring and summer, or 7 days in fall and winter.

Instructions for Use

Begin with half a zhan, gradually increasing to one zhan; adjust the dosage according to one’s constitution, taking 3–4 times daily, ensuring the liquid retains a wine-like color. If the wine is consumed, add 5 sheng of wine and 1–2 he of high-quality Sichuan pepper; this is effective.
