Formulas Name : Ginseng and Pueraria Decoction

Chinese Name : 人参葛根汤

Drug Formulation

1 liang of ginseng, 1 liang of dried kudzu root (chopped), 1 liang of white peony root, 1 liang of platycodon root (roasted), 5 qian of licorice root (chopped), 5 qian of wood fragrant, and 1 fen of ephedra (roots and nodes removed).

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

For epidemic diseases where both exterior and interior symptoms persist, accompanied by high fever and aversion to cold.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose; decoct in 1 zhan of water until reduced to 7 fen; strain and take while hot. Take 2–3 doses in total; keep warm and induce sweating.
