Drug Formulation

2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of white peony root, 2 liang of Sichuan peony root, 2 liang of Dendrobium (wine-fried), 2 liang of Cyperus rotundus (fried),Glutinous Rice 2 liang (roasted), Aquilaria Wood (finely chopped) 4 liang, Prepared Rehmannia Root 4 liang, Gentiana Root 1 liang, Fritillaria Bulb (core removed) 1 liang, Notopterygium Root 1 liang, Cinnamon Bark 1 liang, Licorice Root 1 liang, Dried Ginger (roasted) 1 liang, Northern Asarum Root 1 liang, Peony Bark 1 liang, Roasted Soybean Rolls 1 liang,Fennel (roasted) 1 liang, Trifoliate Orange Peel (pitted, roasted with wheat bran) 1 liang, Corydalis 1 liang, White Angelica 1 liang, Ginseng half a liang, Wood Fragrance half a liang, Gypsum (calcined) half a liang, Agarwood half a liang, Scutellaria half a liang, Sichuan Pepper 3 fen, Jiaojia San (prepared) 8 liang.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills, making 7 pills per liang.

Instructions for Use

Take as directed below: For regular use, dissolve in warm wine. For various women’s ailments, pre- and postpartum wind-deficiency and chronic cold, stiffness and numbness in the hands and feet, and bean-sized urinary stones, dissolve in wine; for blood-wind headaches and postpartum stroke, dissolve in wine with Schizonepeta;For phlegm-induced coughs before or after childbirth, take with a decoction of mulberry bark; for irregular menstrual cycles—whether early, late, heavy, or light—accompanied by blood-qi surges causing stabbing pain and heaviness in the lower back and flanks, take with warm wine; for blocked menstrual channels and postpartum blood-induced shortness of breath, take with a decoction of su mu and ginseng; for unstoppable uterine bleeding and red or white vaginal discharge, take with wine mixed with charred side cypress;If pregnancy management is improper or due to fright, resulting in extreme pain and distress, threatened miscarriage, or vaginal bleeding, take a decoction of gelatin and mugwort dissolved in wine; for difficult labor, take frankincense ground into a powder and dissolved in wine; for a stillborn fetus retained in the womb with retained placenta, take 3 qian of magnolia bark (finely ground) mixed with a child’s urine and wine;Postpartum exhaustion and depletion of blood and qi, manifesting as malaria-like chills and fever, generalized body pain, shortness of breath, coughing, and night sweats: decoct Rehmannia and Black Plum in water and take the solution; postpartum edema due to blood stasis: mix a small amount of ginger juice with half a cup of wine and take the solution; if taken before childbirth, it ensures a safe pregnancy and facilitates delivery; if taken after childbirth, it expels retained lochia and prevents various illnesses: mix with a child’s urine and wine and take the solution.

Note

Avoid raw and cold foods, greasy foods, fishy-smelling foods, sows, white pigs, and all toxic substances.
