Drug Formulation

5 liang of physalis fruit, 3 liang of amaranth seed, 2 liang of Scirpus glabra seed (roasted until charred), 2 liang of coarse salt (ground separately), 2 liang of white elm bark (chopped), 1 liang of Bupleurum root (stems removed), 1 liang of Scutellaria root (black core removed), 1 liang of Trichosanthes root (chopped), and 1 liang of Polygonum root.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20–30 pills per dose, washed down with Mu Xiang Decoction, at any time of day. Continue until symptoms subside.
