Drug Formulation

Schisandra berries (roasted) 1 liang, Phellodendron bark (wine-roasted) 1 liang, Anemarrhena rhizome (peeled, mixed with wine, and pounded into a paste) 1 liang, Turtle shell (roasted with a child’s urine) 2 liang, Prepared Rehmannia root 2 liang (if using raw, mix with wine, steam in a copper pot for half a day, then pound into a paste).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix in the two pastes, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a wine paste as binder.
