Drug Formulation

Frankincense 1 liang, Myrrh 1 liang, Dragon’s Blood 1 liang, Beeswax 1 liang, Orpiment 2 liang, Wood Turtle Shell 2 liang (shell removed), Cuttlefish Bone 2 liang, Sea-Tong Bark 2 liang, Ash-Free Wood 4 liang, Bitumen 4 liang, Five-Spirit Fat 2 liang, Musk 2 qian, Talcum Powder 3 qian.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Heat 4 liang of high-quality oil until hot, then add the powder and stir continuously without stopping until the mixture turns black. Stop heating when drops of the mixture form beads when dropped into water.
