Drug Formulation
Motherwort 8 liang (upper section), Cyperus Rhizome 2 liang (processed 7 times), Young Astragalus Root 3 liang (honey-fried), Ginseng 2 liang (root base removed), White Atractylodes 3 liang (earth-fried), White Poria 2 liang (thoroughly steamed), Fried Licorice 2 liang, Angelica Root 3 liang (all washed with wine), White Peony Root 2 liang (wine-fried), Dried Tangerine Peel 2 liang,3 liang of Prepared Rehmannia, 2 liang of Amomum (roasted).

Benefits
For deficiency-syndrome with irregular menstruation; or amenorrhea due to deficiency; or vomiting, epistaxis, metrorrhagia, or leukorrhea due to deficiency; or an unstable early pregnancy due to deficiency; or multiple postpartum ailments due to deficiency.
Instructions for Use
Form into pills and take orally. For irregular menstruation, take with a decoction of longan flesh, stir-fried jujube seeds, and lotus seeds (with the cores removed); for amenorrhea, take with a decoction of stir-fried peach kernels and stir-fried safflower; for uterine bleeding, take with a decoction of raw Rehmannia root, stir-fried Scutellaria root, and Moutan bark;for an unstable early pregnancy, take with a decoction of roasted Scutellaria root, aged tangerine peel (without the white pith), and Perilla stem; the standard dosage for all is 4–5 fen. For postpartum lochia that has not cleared, accompanied by hardness and pain in the center of the abdomen, first take the “Rescue-Childbirth Pills” with rice wine to expel stagnant blood, then continue with this formula; if there is no lochia, take this formula frequently, focusing on tonifying deficiency; if affected by cold, add fresh ginger; if fever is present, add a child’s urine.
