Drug Formulation
Pearl (fresh and white) 1 qian, Qingganghua 5 qian (i.e., the scum from an indigo vat, washed with water), genuine mercury oxide 1 liang.

Processing
Place the pearl in tofu and boil until it comes to a rolling boil several times; remove it, grind it to a very fine, silent powder, then add the indigo flower and genuine mercury oxide and grind them together to a very fine powder. Store in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use
Apply externally to the affected area. For chronic genital ulcers, wash the area with licorice decoction and apply a paste made from pig spinal cord; for sores that have not yet formed new skin, apply the powder dry.
