Drug Formulation

1 jin of Atractylodes lancea (soaked in rice washing water for 4 hours), half a jin of Sichuan Aconite (roasted), 4 liang of Wild Aconite (roasted), 2 liang of scorpion tails, 2 liang of earthworms (cleaned of soil), 3 liang of Gastrodia elata, 3 liang of Asarum (leaves removed), 5 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, and 5 liang of Angelica dahurica.

Instructions for Use

For wind-toxin swelling and rabid dog bites, take 1 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine; externally, apply a water-based mixture to the affected area. For hemiplegia caused by wind, cold, heat, or dampness, take 1 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine. For brain abscesses and back sores, apply a mixture of well water to the surrounding area and take an additional dose mixed with warm wine.For all types of headaches, rub with raw green onions and take with wine; for typhoid fever, take with warm tea to induce sweating; for carbuncles, take with warm wine and apply a vinegar-based mixture externally; for leg sores, apply a mixture made with well water; for pediatric wind disorders, take with peppermint decoction.
