Processing
Prepare each herb according to the prescribed method, grind each into an extremely fine powder, mix thoroughly with a child’s urine, honey, and ghee, place in a porcelain jar, seal tightly with salt mud, and simmer in a double boiler for three incense sticks’ worth of time. Remove and expose to the open air overnight, then knead into a single block,place it firmly into a silver box, seal the exterior tightly with salt clay, dry it in the sun, then place it inside an iron bell with the bell’s opening facing upward. Secure it with an iron wire tied in a cross through the nose. Melt 10–20 units of black lead and pour it into the bell until the clay ball is no longer visible. Place it in a cinder pot and fire it through three cycles, with each cycle requiring 1 liang 6 qian of lead; the lead should first separate by four fingers’ width.Gradually rotate the bell, switching positions at the hours of Yin and Xu. Place a drip bottle on top and drip water into it from time to time. Nurture it for 35 days. Use a hot iron to melt away the lead, open the box, and you will find the medicine has turned purple. Store it in a porcelain jar, seal the opening with beeswax, and bury it in clean soil overnight.
Instructions for Use
Take 1 fen per dose; place it in the palm of your hand, lick it with your tongue, and wash it down with yellow wine. Gradually increase the dose to a maximum of 3 fen. Long-term use yields remarkable results.
